Elizabeth is a published author, marketing consultant, and the monthly
columnist for RT BOOK Reviews on the topic of comics, manga, and graphic
novels. She has a BS in Business and MS in Communications from
Boston University and has over a decade and a half in the corporate and
private business sectors, though she prefers writing, interviews,
research, and reader events.
AE is a member of the Author's Guild; Romance Writers of America; and a regular presenter at the Romantic Times BOOK LOVERS Convention. Among her published credits are two Simon & Schuster collections, CARAMEL FLAVA & HONEY FLAVA, and the Highland Press sweet collection, RECIPE FOR LOVE; the Spec Ops Military Anthology OPERATION: L.O.V.E. and the soon-to-be released books: FOR YOUR HEART ONLY and HOLIDAY OP. Her graphic novel, PULSE OF POWER, debuts in February 2010 via Dabel Brothers LLC. She enjoys Kenpo, hiking, mountain biking, yoga, Body Rev, painting, and kayaking. Her husband is a retired Navy SEAL, and they are active in the West Coast Navy SEAL community. Her favorite motto is "Passion is the breath of life. Live boldly!" Also, a quote inspired by her grandfather gathers much of her creative advice into one sentence, "Look inside, find the message that is yours to share, and give it to the world."

 | I was born in Aiken, South Carolina, but alas, my parents moved back to northern New Jersey where I grew up, which if you’ve met me would explain a lot. I’ve always had my nose in a book, have traveled the world over, and even tested the time-space continuum, thanks to the awesome power of the written word. My love for the written word is a gift from my parents, but the need to write was instilled by my 7th Grade English teacher. One of my writing quirks is that I love to include bits and pieces of my ancestors and ancestry in all of my books. Check out my fun facts and genealogy page to see which characters are named after family or friends. Fate, destiny and love at first sight will always play a large part in my stories because they played a major role in my life. When I saw my husband for the first time, I knew he was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with. I’ve loved him forever…well…more than half my life. Each and every hero I write about has a few of Dave’s best qualities, his honesty, his integrity, his compassion for those in need and his killer broad shoulders. I’m such a sucker for a man with broad shoulders.

| Tara Nina is a southern transplant living in a quiet corner of New Jersey. People think of NJ as the armpit of the nation. But, believe it or not… black bears, deer, gorgeous hawks and other fantastic wildlife manage to sneak by her three dogs at least once or twice a week. If she's lucky, she actually takes a moment to enjoy the beauty of nature before tackling the task of mother to her two teenagers and wife to her husband (who she considers to be her third child.) Occasionally, the family hikes the Appalachian Trail near their home. The outdoors can be a great inspiration for the illusive muse inside of everyone. When asked what she does for a living… "I'm a romance novelist trapped in the body of an MRI technologist."

| I've been writing off and on for more years then I can remember. First for local weekly newspapers. I also did several articles for magazines. I was later publisher, editor, writer and photographer for a newsletter. As a photographer, I spent two weeks in 1990 with the Smithsonian Institute in Washington. About three years ago I tried my hand a historical fiction. I couldn't get past the first three pages. It was then I, by accident, read a romance novel. Needless to say, I found what I wanted to write. Romance. For the last two years I've done nothing but. Paranormal and straight romance. I'm fortunate in that my job allows me time to write at work. Currently I’m Vice President of Outreach International Romance Writers, a SIC, with RWA and Membership Chair of FF&P, another SIC. I live in Connecticut with my Collie, Kebi, who's a rescue Collie.

| DC makes her debut in the Highland Press anthology, OPERATION: L.O.V.E. with her story B&B BIVOUAC. She writes the gamut from sweet to sexy but her favorite genres are spicy romantic suspense and sweet and funny military romance. And she is a member of the Heart of Dixie Chapter of the Romance Writers of America. DC was born on Keesler Air Force Base and is the daughter of a lifer Air Force Master Sergeant father and a career Civil Service mother. Over the years she has supported the USO and multiple Veteran's organizations with her time and donations ... and adopts several soldiers each year, keeping the post office in business shipping FRB's to Iraq and Afghanistan APOs. Her cookies and care packages are legendary (or is that infamous?) A former evolution in her life saw her working for Porter Novelli, Omnicom's Public Relations arm, and McKinsey & Company Management Consulting in Los Angeles. She is experienced in the various facets of managing events and enjoys the wonderful world of marketing and promotion. When she's not watching the sun come up over the rim of her laptop, DC enjoys spending time with her rocket scientist husband Charles and their two cat masters, Tiger and Angel. She is an admitted spa addict who is perpetually in search of the perfect massage, rich dark chocolate truffles and most importantly, the ideal cup of gourmet coffee. She enjoys Fencing Epee with the Huntsville Fencing Club, riding her 800cc Vulcan Classic Softtail motorcycle, horseback riding, shooting, camping, cooking, painting, entertaining friends and family, and all forms of dancing and is working on her scuba certification.
